pursue - 2022 youth convention

PURSUE is a two-day student conference for both Jr. High & High School students and this year's theme is GLOW Taking place over a Friday evening and all-day on Saturday, it includes general sessions of worship, guest speakers, and tons of activities. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to come together to pursue their relationship with God, and is often the annual youth group highlight of the year.

Dates: Friday May 27 and Saturday May 28 (note: this is not an overnight trip)

Friday: drop-off 6:00 PM; pick up 8:30 PM

Saturday: drop-off 8:15 AM; pick up 8:30 PM

Location for Drop-off & Pick-up: Canada Christian College (300 Water Street, Whitby, ON L1N 9B6)

Ages: all students attending this event must be a Jr. High (ages 9-11) or a Sr. High (ages 12-18) 

Cost: $95/student (cash cheque, or credit/debit - note "youth convention" on the envelope) - due Sunday April 24. 

Registration: was due April 24. Student can still register with an additional $15 late fee (please email us if you are interested)

Included: access to all general sessions on both days, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and all afternoon activities

Wear: comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothes, deodorant, a jacket (evenings can be cooler by the lake) 

Bring: Bible, notebook/pen, water bottle, any medications (if required), money for snacks/merch (optional)



*Note: General Session 1 (Friday) and 3 (Saturday) have often run long in past years, so pick-up time is approximate. Schedule is subject to change.

Speaker: Aaron Kerr, lead pastor of the multi-ethnic, multi-generational Vivid Church in Toronto with a dynamic and engaging teaching style

Worship: Pursue House Band, made up of worship leaders from across the GTA who have a passion for worship and desperately want to see lives changed.
