Uprising is a place for students to see that they are not alone in life as Christians and we want our students to find out who they are and what makes them who they are. How do we teach our students to live a life that represents KNOWN? Well, we see in Nahum 1:7 it says, “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He KNOWS those who take refuge in Him.” Our students are continually faced with feelings of discouragement through the feeling of being alone, isolated, or invisible. But during this weekend we will learn of how deeply known, loved, cared for and protected we are by God.
