FAMILY WORSHIP & OUTREACH CENTRE
Family Worship & Outreach Centre (FWC) was formed in the year 2000 by Pastor Steve and Debbie Sparling. The church initially started in a community centre with an average attendance of twelve people.
Since then, the church has moved to it's current location at 1731 Bloor Street, Courtice and our family continues to grow.
We are focused on being a place where families can grow closer to God and to one another. We have a passion to reach out to our community in the Durham Region, Toronto and beyond.

MISSION
To bring people to a saving knowledge in Jesus and membership in his family,
To develop them to Christ-like maturity, and
To equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world.
All this is done through the power of the Holy Spirit that we might magnify God's name.
We are convinced that a great commitment to Acts 1:8, the Great Commandment, and the Great Commission will build a Great Church.

We value the local church: which is marked by sound doctrine, Pentecostal worship, every-member ministry, loving relationships, Holy Spirit empowered evangelism, anointed proclamation and practical expressions of Christian faith.
who we are
We are a multi-generational, family-oriented church. Bring your kids; bring your grandparents.
We are a community of imperfect people who refuse to pretend to be anything else.
We're saved by grace and we're following Jesus. We believe that Jesus came to change your heart, not your shirt. Come as you are. This is a family church, not a fashion show.
We are a body of Pentecostal believers who trust and rely on the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We truly believe that we're incomplete without you. You belong here. Welcome to the Family!
purpose
The five purposes of Family Worship Centre are based on the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20):
Worship (love the Lord with all your heart)
Ministry (love your neighbour as yourself)
Outreach (go and make disciples)
Fellowship (baptize them...)
Discipleship (teach them...)
